The latitude and longitude of the observation location can be specified by clicking the ‘Earth’ icon’ located on the toolbar. The address of Fairy Devices Inc. is set by default.
Observation location latitude and longitude setting
The observation location’s latitude and longitude can be specified by using one of the following four options: 1) selecting the country/city name, 2) referring to Japan map, 3) referring to the world map or 4) inputting the specific latitude
and longitude.
Observation location latitude and longitude setting dialog
A different option can be used to specify the observation location’s latitude and longitude by clicking the desired tab located in the upper part of the observation location latitude and longitude setting dialog.
Country/City name
Select the observation location’s country name from the left pane and then select the name of the city from the right
pane so that the representative latitude and longitude are automatically obtained..Click the “Setting” button to confirm the latitude and longitude setting procedure specified. All addresses recorded
in StellarWindow are domestic only.
Japan map:
Click the desired location on Japan map so that an approximate latitude and longitude are automatically obtained.
Click the “Setting” button to confirm the latitude and longitude specified. The level of accuracy as a result of using a map is lower when compared to inputting the latitude and longitude.
World map:
Click the desired location on the world map so that an approximate latitude and longitude are automatically obtained.
Click the “Setting” button to confirm the latitude and longitude specified. Input the specific latitude and longitude
when a high level of accuracy is required.
