Startup modes

StellarWindow provides two different startup modes (*2):eLight ModefandeStandard Modef(*1). Both of these modes are run based on the same program and the difference between these two modes is observed in their operation settings that are loaded when StellarWindow is launched.
The Light Mode is designed to enable light StellarWindow operations. Please refer to the second half of this Usersf Guide for the details of individual settings including those for stars and planets.
Even if you have initially selected the Standard Mode to run StellarWindow with, the operation settings of the Light Mode can be resembled by performing setting changes. This applies vice versa when using the Light Mode to resemble the operation settings of the Standard Mode.
These two different startup modes are provided so that StellarWindow is able to respond to PCs with a large variety of performance levels. The Light Mode is suitable for PCs with a limited memory capacity as StellarWindow may not run in the Standard Mode with such PCs.When using a PC with a limited memory capacity, the optimum operation settings can be discovered by performing gradual setting changes while running StellarWindow in the Light Mode.
Please refer to the eAdditional information: Details of Standard Mode and Light Modef for further details of the startup modes.
